Section – 82. Dangerous operations.
The appropriate Government may, by rules, make provisions relating to any factory or class or description of factories in which a manufacturing process or operation is carried on that exposes any person employed to a serious risk of bodily injury, poisoning or disease, for—
(a) specifying such manufacturing process or operation and declaring it to be dangerous;
(b) prohibiting or restricting the employment of pregnant women in such processes or operations;
(c) providing for periodical medical examination, before or during employment, to ascertain the fitness of workers for such employment at the cost of the occupier; and
(d) providing welfare amenities, sanitary facilities, protective equipment and clothing, and any other requirements necessary for such dangerous operations.
