Section – 62. Benefits of public distribution system, etc.
The appropriate Government shall frame schemes to provide—
(a) an option to inter-State migrant workers to avail benefits of the public distribution system either in their native State or in the destination State where they are employed; and
(b) portability of benefits for inter-State migrant workers engaged in building or other construction work, allowing them to access benefits from the building and other construction cess fund in the destination State where they are employed.
