Section – 19. Research related activities.
It shall be the duty of such institutions in the field of occupational safety and health, as may be notified by the Central Government or the State Government, to conduct research, experiments and demonstrations relating to occupational safety and health and to submit their recommendations to the respective Government, as the case may be:
Provided that the State Government shall consult the National Board before notifying the conduct of such research, experiments and demonstrations relating to occupational safety and health.
