Section – 17. State Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board.
(1) The State Government shall, by notification, constitute a Board to be known as the State Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board (hereinafter referred to as the “State Advisory Board”) to advise the State Government on matters arising from the administration of this Code, as may be referred to it from time to time.
(2) The composition, procedure and other related matters of the State Advisory Board shall be as prescribed by the State Government.
(3) The State Government may constitute such number of technical committees or advisory committees, including site appraisal committees, with prescribed qualifications and membership, to assist the State Government or the State Advisory Board in discharging their functions within their respective jurisdictions.
