Section – 51. Revocation, suspension and amendment of licence.
(1) If the authority referred to in sub-section (1) of section 119 is satisfied, either on a reference made to it or otherwise, that—
(a) a licence has been obtained by misrepresentation or suppression of material facts; or
(b) the licence holder has failed to comply with its conditions or has contravened provisions of this Part or the rules made thereunder,
then, without prejudice to any other penalty, the authority may, after giving the contractor an opportunity to be heard, suspend or revoke the licence in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
(2) Subject to prescribed rules, the authority may also amend a licence granted under this Part.
