Section – 44. Adequate safety of employment of women in dangerous operation.
Where the appropriate Government considers that the employment of women in any establishment, class of establishments, or in any hazardous or dangerous processes is unsafe for their health and safety due to the nature of operations carried out therein, it may, in the prescribed manner, require the employer to ensure adequate safeguards before employing women for such operations.
