Section – 31. Notice of periods of work.
(1) Every establishment shall display and properly maintain a notice of periods of work, clearly indicating for each day the hours during which workers may be required to work in accordance with the provisions of this Code.
(2) The form of such notice, the manner of its display, and the procedure for submitting it to the Inspector-cum-Facilitator shall be as prescribed by the appropriate Government.
(3) Any proposed change in the system of work that requires modification of the notice shall be communicated to the Inspector-cum-Facilitator before implementation, and no such change shall be made without prior approval until one week has elapsed since the last change.
